As you know, we have been doing a kitchen/ dining room renovation since November 2018.
I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! We are starting to put things back together!! YAY!! It amazes me how different my new kitchen is looking compared to the old nasty one that was in the house!! The walls are being framed and insulated, and the sub floors were put in and the new floors followed. I think I can see something wonderful happening.
My husband and our contractor have been working tirelessly. My husband works 12 hour days. The he gets two days off. He uses his days off to work all day long on the house. He is quite the trooper! More Framing going up, and insulation. As you can see, we are still working AROUND everything since we have no where to store anything.
In my opinion, this is where it starts getting exciting, the DRYWALL starts going up. I was so excited to see this, and it really started making the place look like real rooms. Thank you drywall guys! They did such a nice job and cleaned up after themselves really well too.
LOOKING good ain't it? !! I am loving it!! The funny part about all of this is that the drywall looks much better than the finished kitchen that was originally in the kitchen to begin with. Happy to be seeing some the progression that gives a good idea as to what the finished product may look like! Final finishes coming up on next few posts.
